Its time for a guide vs guide matchup where I put the most popular leveling guides head to head to find out which guide is best for you!
I’ll never recommend that one guide is better than the rest – I think that’s nonsense…
Every guide that I recommend here has its own particular strengths and weaknesses, and that’s why I’m bringing this leveling guide showdown series out to play!
So the question I hope to help you answer is, “which guide is best for you?”

If you JUST want a leveling guide, comparisons 2 and 3 will be most useful for you.
If you’re not sure if you want more than just leveling information, comparison 1 and 4 will be of most use to you.
If you’re certain that you want more than leveling, you also want gold, or PvP, or profession info… then I recommend Dave Farrel’s excellent Ultimate WoW guide.
Dave’s guide is easy to use and is on par with the rest of the guides here for leveling speed, but you can save a lot of money if you want to bundle his guide with other gold or pvp information.
